A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman were one of hip hop's and the model world's hottest couples during the course of their relationship.
They broke up in 2014, but it seems like the breakup is still stinging a bit in his heart. He sat down with MTV News' Nadeska for an interview where he opens up about his past relationship.
"Me and Chanel broke up in June and I got really depressed, he said. "I don't wanna be the guy to Lauryn Hill her — if you know what I'm saying. I love her so much that I would rather not be with her, than hurt her."
That's deep.
But it seems like they are still very good friends, and haven't alienated each other.She's my best friend, man," he said. "For real. Because you have to be mature to be in this kind of predicament and have a relationship. I never really talk about things kinds of things, her and I, like that. And she never really talks about me, so I'm really gonna say much on the subject but, she's happy, and that's all I want. I want her to be happy.
