50 Cent has decided that it's time to step away.
The rapper originally came onto the scene back in 1999 following the release of his single "How To Rob." The track called out the hip hop community at the time, and the then unknown rapper from South Jamaica, Queens was officially on the map.
It's been over 16 years since he first appeared in hip hop. With all the success he's had with television, it looks like he is finally ready to end his legendary career.
He is the cover feature for Muscle & Fitness, and during the interview he has officially revealed that his upcoming album Street King Immortal might just be his last.
“I want to finish with that project. I don’t want to write another record after that. You know how some artists got to have confirmation that they’re right. I have that confirmation in f***ing 35, 40 million [albums] that I already sold."
Although he recently released The Kanan Tape, 50 Cent hasn't been too active in the music scene as of late. He has massive hits such as "In Da Club," "Candy Shop," and "I Get Money," along with hits with his G-Unit crew. His legacy might end up being with his mixtape hits and freestyles which are classic in the streets.
As executive producer of the successful show Power, he has been working his way onto the small screen lately with more projects on the way.
